Course Description
The Academic Writing & Essay Lab is designed for G9–12 students who need to strengthen their academic writing, essay composition, and high-school literacy skills. Through structured instruction, hands-on practice, and individualized feedback, students learn to write with clarity, structure, logic, and academic precision—skills essential for G11 & 12 English, cross-curricular assignments, and future university success. This 24-hour small-group course (3–8 students) provides the perfect balance of personal attention and collaborative writing practice. Who This Course Is For • Students who want stronger essay organization and paragraph development • Students needing help with thesis statements, argumentation, and textual evidence • Students preparing for G10–12 English evaluations • Students aiming to improve overall academic literacy • Students who struggle with clarity, coherence, or structural consistency • Students preparing for university-level writing expectations Course Format & Schedule • Small Group Class (3–8 students) • Total: 24 hours • Taught once per week (2 hours/session) over 12 weeks • Classes available on weekends • Taught in English by qualified North American instructors Tuition • G9–10: $28/hour → $669 total • G11–12: $30/hour → $719 total (Prices include curriculum materials, assignment feedback, and progress reporting.)
